Burned puppy dies

The puppy that was badly burned, allegedly by a teenage neighbor, has died.

Teen could face charges in puppy burning
The 5-month-old German shepherd suffered second- and third-degree burns over 50 percent of his body, including burns inside his abdominal cavity. Not optimistic about the puppy's chances for survival after he developed a severe infection, veterinarians decided to humanely euthanize him.

A 17-year-old neighbor of the dog's owner is accused of stealing the puppy and setting it on fire.

The little dog's owner said the teen had threatened to use gasoline on the dog before.

It's not clear what sparked the abuse, but the teen could face felony animal abuse charges.

That is horrible, That 17 year old needs serious counselling. I have heard that teens and kids that abuse animals can extend that to humans as well.
