Harness v. Collar

Just a question to help me decide whether or not to start using a body harness for taking my dog for walks or to stick with the collar .... just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on the matter really. My dog walks perfectly well with a collar and leash, but is a harness more 'friendly' for her?

Any thoughts anyone?! Thanks in advance.

Harnesses are designed for animals that like to pull. If your dog is doing well with a collar and a leash, keep it that way as a harness will just encourage pulling. The dog will have more strength to pull since it can now distribute pressure better throughout it's legs and shoulders. Also, correcting a pulling dog with a harness on is next to impossible. JMO!
