Feline sneezing
My 4 month old kitten has periods of sneezing. No loss of appetite, quite the opposite, he is ravenous. No drainage from his nose or eyes. He is an indoor cat with 4 other indoor adults. The adults have no symptoms. He has no coughing or other respiratory symptoms. He just has these periodic sneezing spells, a couple of sneezes 2 or 3 times a day, for approximately the last 2 weeks. I have read some of the other forum questions regarding sneezing and I have done research. Most feline respiratory infections and viruses are quite scary, however he doesn't seem to have the symptoms. Allergies?

Allergies in animals usually manifest in itching, not sneezing or watery eyes as they do in us.
Your kitten may have a very mild form of rhino. If he is lively and has good appetite and no discharge, I wouldn't worry. If this continues must longer than 10 day, there's an off chance he may actually have something in his nose, so I would have him checked out then. |

Thanks
He is a typical bouncing off-the-walls kitten. He eats like a fiend. Thanks again, I will get him to the vet if this persists.
