OK, I'm confused. I thought bully breeds were dogs like pits, mastiffs and bull dogs. Are these the two bullies your name refers to?

They're cute but I have to admit another case of name confusion, I thought you were a bully breed owner.

twodogsandacat, maybe she means the dogs are bullies, as in THEY run the show, instead of the other way around. Not sure though. I'm interested in what she has to say about the name.

That picture is adorable. You should blow it up and frame it.

Unhappy

LOL about my name.... I own a staff bull terrier cross, and I had adopted a english bull terrier as well. I still have the staff cross, but the bull terrier is a long story. It turns out he was up for adoption because he had severe temperment issues which were never told to me. He had even attacked before, and this was not told to me either. The previous owners lead me to believe that he was the one being picked on by another dog. It was a private adoption from a woman in Toronto. The poor dog in which i grew to love so fast and really loved me back turned on everyone. The vet, James, my sister as well as children. Stiches and the hospital were involved twice. On advise from the hospital as animal control we had to have him put to sleep. He was a great dog and will be greatly missed, but his three strikes ran out really quickly. My vet said he had been terribly abused by his previous owner, causing many mental and physical problems. I really did not want to talk about this as I find it very very hard. Please dont discriminate against what had to be done because it was not my choice at all. I loved him so much, and still do, it wasnt his fault he was made to be that way. I have emailed the previous owner and she has yet to respond and its been almost a month.

So sorry you had to go thru that .... must have been very difficult for you when all you wanted to do was luv this pup. It's sad how people can mistreat an animal (previous owner) then expect someone else to deal with the problems that they have created
