Great Dane from Baie d'Urfe to South of Ottawa
Danes in Distress is willing to take a Female, unspayed, Fawn Great Dane in and help her. She is presently being held in a livestock barn due to weather turning poor.... she was tied outside prior. She is at risk of being euthanised if transport cannot be arranged. She has been in care with the gentleman for one week, appears healthy and is very good natured. Approximately 2 years old, non cropped ears. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. I am doing the first leg from Ormstown to my home. As you know, I can't do the rest due to family issues. Thanks for reading.

Tons of thanks
Here is a photo of the dane I picked up today. Mesaana came by and got her to bring the rest of the leg. I can't thank her enough for helping this poor girl. She has had a litter recently and several lumps n bumps. Her ears are very red and she's shedding up a storm. She comes with no name. Argh, people. She is the sweetest girl. Wonderful with children and other dogs. So thankful Mesaana was able to help out as well!

This girl is soooo nice! We just took her for a nice walk. She was pulling a bit at first but settled nicely. She's so curious and interested in everything. She just got a biscuit (we walked to Mondou's) and took it ever so delicately.
It's really too bad that I'm on the road a lot... I'd keep her myself! Lyne |

awww
That's probably her first ever walk. I sent the photos to Jim and described her via phone, he's very excited and can't wait for her to get in and seen to for the lumps. Here's hoping it's residual from the litter.
