A few pics of the buddies (Lilly has the donut collar & Cone on to prevent more damage to her belly from over grooming while in treatment for food & environmental intolerances.

This was staged, Lilly was on the tree first & I placed Pixi beside her, they happily stayed long enough for a couple of pics

Sneaky cuddles, I had put Pixi up next to Lilly & this was the result when Pixi shifted positions. Lilly didn't seem to mind for a few minutes anyways

Poor Lilly, though, with the cone. I hope she's better soon!

Hopefully soon the cone can come off, there's been such great progress with half her belly fur growing back in since she can't continually wash, though she has figured out how to get around the cone to reach some areas.

She is also much less itchy since the tests revealed the long list of triggers.

Hope Lilli will overcome her food and environmental issues soon so she can shed that cone.

Lilly agrees lol

She's doing alot better now that I have a better idea of the various things she reactive too. Some things I can control such as food & others like the pollens I can't so it's a balancing act

Growler if your cat like to sit in the window still
In the warm weather you could try wiping the window still and screen off to remove some pollen . I will have to do this with my cat to keep pollen off her.

Barkingdog they both love to sit in the window & I do have screens in them. I also have fans that fit in the windows with the screens that can either blow air in or out. I'm considering getting an air purifier for this spring. One of the pollens she reacts to is from a tree in front of the next building that is in direct line of sight out my windows

Ugh that is a bummer about the tree being so close to your window. I will have to wipe my window stills off bc I don't want pollen all over my cat. Does your cat have food allergies too ?

Yes Lilly has a long list of both food & environmental triggers.

I just got Pixi's test results back today & she also has quite a few food & environmental triggers though not as many as Lilly.

Luckily there is a local raw company that makes raw food without salmon oil or any supplements & they have enough varieties the girls can have a few different proteins.

They have some in common like salmon, chicken, lamb, rabbit, all grains & some that are different. A couple of environmental triggers are common to both of them.

to buy raw food for your cats . I wonder if the
way food is being grown today is part of the reason pets and people have so many allergies

Yeah the pesticides, hormones, drugs & gmo's etc are not helping the food supply or the planet.
