Question Spayed Cat

Good Evening,

I have a question, I have just had my female cat spayed, its been about a 10 days and she seems fine, I check her to look for swelling and redness, but what I have noticed the last couple of days is a lump around where the surgery was, its not red or infected looking its hard to the touch, she seems fine eating well and going to the bathroom fine and seems frisky as well, should I be concerned or is this part of healing???
concerned.

Hi there. Welcome My dog was spayed recently and She had that. I dont know what it was but i said that it if wasnt gone in a few days or satrted to seem more serious She was going to the vet, but within a few short days it was gone. If you feel its something to worry about then by all means, dont hesitate to bring her to the vet and ease your mind. It started getting smaller by the day so i just left it alone. Good luck!

Completely normal. In a week or so it will disappear. It's happened in every gal I've had done.
Keep an eye on it. Don't keep feeling it. Check in a week. It will be down. If it gets bigger then call the vet but really, np.

Ditto. No worries. It will go away eventually. If not contact the vet. I forget what it's called

It can actually take a few months sometimes to go away completely. As long as it's not oozing, hot, open or sore, it's likely fine.

Yeah, I know. I meant it will be a little smaller than it was the week before. I guess this is another case of people need to read between the line when I type something. Sorry.

It is a natural part of the healing process. Some kitties heal faster than others. All of my females have had it when they were fixed. It will slowly recede.
