Bone tumor
Hi,
I just lost my older cat to renal disease after 3 months, we gave her medication and sub Q fluids but she got worse and passed away two weeks ago. Last week when I went to the vet to pick up her ashes I brought Jazz along to get a check up. We found out that he has a bone tumor on his jaw. He is a 12 year old maine coon cat. My vet took his x-rays to an oncologist and he said he didn't think that the tumor was osteosarcoma but may be benign or plasma cell tumor, but we'd have to get an MRI and a biopsy. I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this condition and treatment or what to expect will happen to my cat as the disease progresses. Thank you for any insight. |
