Another Superior day

Please let me know if you are getting sick of our lake side romps...

It was a perfect fall day out on the lake, windy and wavey with such gorgeous light.

and NOBODY but us there to appreciate it

Molly, of course, was in heaven

Basking in the glory

Well, if the days gotta end, it might as well end nicely.

Thanks Rottielover and Jiorji

It's so nice that Molly has so many friends here on pets.ca

Molly has got me all figured out... if she keeps bugging me to play, I take her to the beach . No wonder I don't ever get any work done

Love the "Basking" shot especially with the sandy ball in her mouth

Always love footprints in the sand shots & the last one is great too

Basking in the Glory is my favourite too. You are so lucky to have such a beautiful secluded beach nearby.

You are all welcome to come and share our beach with us.

we could invite Rick C to come and take photos, Hazel and the pack to keep the land based action going, Frenchy and her pack so Molly could show her foster family her new home, Bree would have to come cause she's just sooooo cute, we'd have to get Shredy and Chloe to come up from California so they could see what a GREAT lake is all about, can't forget Maggie as we'll need some zoomie action for Chloe, .... I could think of a hundred reasons why you'd all need to come (but I gotta go back to work now :sad

Ok, we're on our way! I love Molly's sweet face, with her salt and pepper gray. She looks so content!! What a great doggie life. I can't wait to get out of the city and back to the mountains. This life just isn't for me and I KNOW Chloe is going to love the snow and the water. I just keep telling myself only a little while longer, only a little while longer....

Otter, this is MY lake, The first were during a remarkably cold december and the last is a picture of Emerald Bay, I go kayaking here all the time during the summers. The lake gets rough in the afternoon, but early in morning all is calm.

Shredy, I love your lake The mountains make it just dreamy

I'm a kayaker too, unfortunately I can't figure out how to get a golden retriever in a kayak so, I don't get out paddling as much as i'd like (cause heading out on the lake without Molly just doesn't seem right )

Chloe was my baby too I think of all our good times together each time I read about your Chloe, it's a beautiful name for such beautiful girls

Can't wait to see pics of your adventures in the mountains

thanks for all the nice compliments... not too hard to take nice pictures of this stuff, I have to give most of the credit to the environment and the magical Molly.

Think I might have to get the "basking" one framed, I like it too.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm....Northern Ontario. The funny thing is I've been alot of places...all over this wonderful world ~ and have been awestruck by their majesty and their sheer beauty, but there really isn't anywhere quite as deep-breath-out serene as Northern Ontario.

Thanks for the reminder Otter.

Wow, that truly is gorgeous! I have a catalogue of land for sale that I like to daydream over (like I'll actually be able to afford anything until 15 years after I graduate ) and I always fall in love with the plots in Northern Ontario. I'm just afraid that I'm too used to having 24 hour stores and shops within three blocks walking distance to live somewhere more secluded...these pictures are tempting me though!
