Some people are just monsters

May this precious soul fly free to the bridge and be free of horrible horrible pain! RIP sweet soul

My heart goes out to the vet that tried in vain to save this pup. You folks are angels and some day you will be repaid for your kindness and compassion.

. I hope the owner is punished to the fullest extent of the law and that Bubba and his gang get him while he's in jail.

I read that this dog was originally intended to be a police dog, but failed because he was too gentle.

Oh L4H I wish someone or something even more pure evil than this person comes to haunt them! I read that too!

You know we often read things that are horrible and painful but this one just tore my heart apart.

This poor little angel has his wings now! Fly free! to the bridge.

This story broke my heart also. Such a lovely dog (well aren't they all in their own way) who surely didn't deserve this. Sadly given all his injuries that he passed away was probably for the best. This pup is running at the bridge now, enjoying the life he was meant to have. I hope they find the owners and are able to punish them severely. It's just too sad for words, some humans really suck!

I could tell by looking at the poor dog he was very sweet. I hope the SOB that abused the poor dog rot in hell! What is the punishment in Canada? In my state is 6 months in jail and a $2,000 fine . It could be difference now , that what I heard it was from a policeman.

They rarely get jail time here (if ever) and the fines are minimal.

This is about as good as it gets for justice for cruelty to animals:

Sadly like L4H said, the punishment is not enough. I guess we all assume it was the owners who did this (the dumpster is right outside their apartment building), but it may not have been, hopefully they can figure that out. If it was the owner, at least they will never be able to harm this dog again. Sadly with our weak punishments here the perpetrators are often able to petition to get their pets back. That poor dog, from his pictures I just wanted to cradle him in my arms, but I'm sure the vet staff were doing that.

I found this story that said you can get up to two and a half years in jail in my state for animal abuses , I guess the law has been made stricter.
