Black Cat ... Lefroy, Innisfil

A friend of mine gave me the url of this site so I could post a picture of this kitty that my DH caught in a live trap on October 10, 2007. The poor thing never made a sound and was really scared.

DH released it a few miles away that evening, but I think it's around here again because something's going in our garbage again. Here's the kitty we caught:

Maybe if it is the cat again you could take it to a no kill shelter? instead of releasing it again on the streets? There are so many dangers to a cat left on the street...especially if it was an indoor kitty not used to being outside, perhaps someone is looking for their cat?....Please dont trap it and release it...contact a no kill shelter please!

Has this cat been hanging around your area for a long time? Does it seem feral? Does it spray around your house area and it smells bad? If you are trapping a cat you should take it to a vet and check if it is microchipped and someone may be looking for it! It is not a good idea to just take it away from your neighborhood. You should make posters of this cat (with the picture). Put flyers in vets offices, pet food stores and groomers. Also knock on doors in your immediate neighborhood and farther, to see if soemenoe knows it. If no one claims it, maybe someone would like to give it a home? Do let us know what happened.

Why would you release the poor thing a few miles away? That seems kind of heartless to me.

Same here. I totally agree. Bring it to a Humane Society or vets. I just can't believe the poster would let it go. Tisk Tisk.

RE: Lost cat

Could this be my cat? My cat, 'Kitty' has been missing since Sept. 3rd. She,s 7 years old and she's fixed so she has a little scar on her belly. Very green eye's. I just don't know how she could have made it to Innisfil. e-mail please if you have any other pictures, or please reply to sherylanne_k@yahoo.ca
