Friend Looking For a Dane
Hi all, as you know I have a dane and apparently that is making my friend jealous. She lives on a farm and is also looking for a dane
She is willing to take anything from a puppy to a senior and would prefer to get a dane needing a home rather then from a breeder. She has owned a dane in the past so she has large breed experience. She has put in applications with danes in distress and one other one but I cannot remember the name right now. If anyone know of a dane needing a home, even if it has issues such as separation axiety or is bad with children etc she is a stay at home homemaker with no children so she is the ideal home for a dog like this. Contact me if you know of any, and I will forward you her info. She is willing to travel all over ontario as well as NY, OH and PA. Any help would be great. Thanks guys |

That beauty is with birch haven. I believe she has applied with them as well. I was just hoping to possibly find someone on here that could no longer keep their big beast (or wonderful beast in my case) anymore

There's a 3.5 year old female Harlequin on petfinders classified. Wants $50 for her. She's in OH, cleveland area, so only a short drive. She is good with children and other dogs. If you don't find the information let me know. There's another in CT as well, about a year old, needs help.

I will have her contact the family in OH, also there is a dane at a shelter in CT, but we would have to have someone help with transport and I know that will be really difficult. I cant believe their adoption fees. Here is the info on him
Newman Dog Great Dane Size: Extra Large Age: Adult Sex: Male I.D: n/a Notes: How does someone lose their great dane? Who knows but, this sweet guy with handsome blue eyes was found wandering the streets by a resident and was brought to the shelter so that we could find him a home. He is white with black spots and named after another Newman with striking blue eyes (Paul). This gentle giant is playful for his breed and we estimate he is about 2 years old now and he is neutered. Newman's adoption fee is just $5.00 since he is already neutered. He's ready to go home. |

You could also try Great Dane Rescue Inc. they are active in Ontario and do adoptions in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Alabama and Ontario.
