7 y/o neutered, short-hair, male orange tabby with white. White on the belly and tip of the tail. No collar/tags. Answers to "Caramel" or "Mel". Lost in the Kennedy/Hwy 7 area on the evening of July 2nd, 2004. Please call 416-508-4666 if you see a cat loosely matching this description.

You may want to post these as well, pictures make strong impact pls include and post a picture.

Have you made posters and put them up everywhere in the area with a pic on them? Called and stopped by vets, pet stores, shelters, spca, humane society, local animal services?

Caramel has found his way home safe and sound! It's been exactly 10 days since we last saw him. We had put up posters on lamp posts and mailboxes, printed flyers that we distributed to at least 10 neighbouring streets, walked and driven the neighbourhood countless times calling his name, walked into nearby forests calling his name, left fresh food and water out at the front, back, and sides of the house (very important - even if raccoons and skunks eat it all), visited all local vets, pet stores, shelters, animal controls, and posted on the following websites:

and most importantly, left the gates to our backyard open and only closed our screen door to the backyard, in case he came home and meowed to wake us. He did. The vet's receptionist told us he could come back 7-10 days after he'd left, she was right. If your pet is still lost, don't give up hope, always leave a way so that s/he can come home.
