Bringing a cat to canada

what is the process of bringing a cat to canada ?

Depending on which country you are coming from, a proof of rabies vaccination is usually enough. More information HERE

I imagine it is the same as dogs. They must be up to date on shots and you will need your vet records to prove it. I think that is all that is required but you could check with the department of agriculture and also customs will be able to tell you if there is a time restraint from when they were vaccinated. They would be the best places to check

I brought over two dogs when we moved to Canada - 23 years ago - but from the UK. We needed nothing but the fact that they were up to date with their shots. England didn't have rabies shots available, so we had them vaccinated when we arrived for that. If the country you are bringing them from has rabies - then you would have to have verification that they had already had their shots. You will also have to pay a vast fortune for the air travel if that is the way you will be arriving!! Good luck
