Kittens sleep everywhere, but their bed

I have only had my 4 month old kittens for about a month now, but they refuse to sleep in their own bed. They have used my bed, sock drawer, cat tree, scratching post base, couches, dining chairs, floor mats, desk, hamper and even once in the kitty litter . The location almost seems random, regardless of when they sleep (day or night). The only thing consistent is that the location big enough for the two of them. They always sleep together (cute, I know).

So my question is: Is nomadic sleeping behavior normal?

As I am typing this they are sleeping on my desk. One is sleeping on a stack of mail and the other is curled up around the monitor base, using my iPod as a pillow!

Here they are sleeping on the dining chairs:

couch:

cat tree:

my bed:

and as disturbing as it is... the litter box:

Don't let them fool you. They are natural disasters when awake. This morning, I found the headphones on my iPod (which they used as a pillow last night) completely destroyed! I'll admit, headphones wrapped around an iPod do look like a mini scratching post.

It's hard to tell in the pictures, but Kyuubi is a short hair and Pekoe is a medium hair.

Geez... ok last post with this ID. I'm going back to my original ID for all future posts.

When they look as cute as that, who cares where they sleep!
I made the mistake of buying a cat bed once.. no one used it - and I had 4 cats at the time..

haha i needed those pics!! they are TESTING the different spots out. out cats do the same thing when we rearange the furniture. they will probably settle down somewhere they both really like. or at least narrow it down to just a FEW places.

I have a bed for each one of my cats. Only one sleeps in one of the beds, and that bed is too small for him. They sleep on the chairs, the carpet, their kitty condo, a comforter in the closet, on the closet shelves, my bed and on the bathroom counter. As long as they don't sleep anywhere dangerous, I say it's okay.
