I agree - but I cannot convince them. Better one than none though. Regardless, this kitten (which ever one it may be) will be loved unconditionally. They are such great people and my personal friends.

Yes they are cute and will be looking for homes very soon hint hint...Obama may have found a home and if everything goes well, Benmax will have someone for a female.....and lets not forget Antonio...He really has bonded with Angel....and plays with her thrugh the dog crate. He will need a place that has other cats..He loves people and he is a very loud and wet purrer....but he definatley loves to be around other cats. You can tell he lived in a colony.
My problem with him is that he is the only male and even though he has been neutured he still goes for the girls...especially Tess who seems to be at a loss....poor girl. I have seen her secretly lead Antonio towards the door hoping that he would bolt when the door opens. She has made a sign for me...to hang around his neck....."Antonio Banderas for sale...cute, great lover, comes with food and water....toilet trained....you will not regret it....he must leave by the end of the month....."

They're all just so sweet!

I don't know how any of you foster moms can let them go after watching them grow up You have much stronger characters than ol' hazel...who tends to be the clingy hoarder type

Ok..I need some input...Claudia,l who has been looking after Mommy and the 4 kittens since they were born has been asked by the condo committee people to get rid of them by this weekend. She is freaking out. Someone saw the cats thru the window and called the committee to complain about the cats. Anyway, I have Angel in a crate, Antonio loose around the house ( neither have been adopted) and ofcourse my 5 cats. Now I told her that I would take Mommy and kittens until they are ready to be adopted...but I don;t know how long I can have them for since I work full time, live in a small house, have 3 kids and I really really really need help......does anyone have the patience to socialize a cat, take a cat, foster a cat...etc....please pm me if you have any ideas. i will be open to suggestions...

so sorry I am bout as far as I can possibly get from you so I am not much help. But my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Good luck! and I thinks someone mentioned this but why not get the media involved. they always love bleeding heart stories. So you should get some help from the public if they take the story.

on another note, which I know wouldn't be to helpful for those who are like neuter em now!!! but if it is life or death why not just drive them somewhere uber far and release. I mean as a last resort. But it would be better than their immediate death. They might even meet some nice people to help them through the winters there. But at least it gives them a better chance or a longer time than what they would get being caught or taken away. it may not solve the to many strays in the world problem. But it would solve their dead problem

I appreciate your input, but the winters in Canada are very harsh and feral cats rarely live to see 3 winters. I would not release a cat knowing that in a few years it would die a cruel and lonely death. If I really had to let them go I would do it on a farm where the people were aware of them and would feed them. i appreciate your thoughts. thank-you. I think I will hold on to them until I find a solution that will not keep me awake at nights wondering if they are dead or suffering.

Poor Claudia, she must be so upset! I don't understand why she needs to get rid of the cats, she's allowed animals in her condo, she has two cats herself. I also know, Claudia is super clean so litter box smell isn't an issue. She should report to the condo committee about the peeping tom looking in her window. Bunch of idiots.

I'm sorry this is happening to you and Claudia cpteria.

thanks guys...I appreciate all your thoughts...Claudia has 3 cats of her own..and apparently the condo people aren;t really happy about that, they only saw the babies....can you imagine if they saw the mommy cat...UGH...I guess people assume that the value of their home will go down if potential buyers find out that they live next to a cat person.....people are idiots...

...and then there were 3

Little Angelina went to her forever home....I called the lady the day after to ask her how the nigt went....Angelina who is now called Daisy ( by her 7 year old) slept on her bed all night and hides druing the day, but comes out and plays with her kids when they get back from school.....so it seems like Daisy will have a good home. Thanks Benmax. i was a littel worried becasue they chose the cat that was most likely to be scared and stay away from them...but apparently she isn't Now I will be looking for other homes.

Mommy may have found a home and maybe able to get adopted with one of her daughters.....
There are interested parties for the other babies, so time will tell.
