Well that sucks! I don't have any personal experience with feline asthma, but one of the best resources on the topic is the Fritz the Brave website. Check out the Treatment tab for info regarding steriods. If Baci is okay inhalation therapy, that can be a better option than long-term oral steroids. What kind of cat litter do you use? I think I remember you mentioning Yesterday's News, is that right? That would be one of the least noxious ones, with dusty clay and pine litters often being asthma triggers for cats. Diet may also play a role (being a cornerstone of good health and a well-functioning immune system). I don't suppose a raw diet is an option for Baci? All the best to the fur-less cutie.

Marko may I ask what are your kittys symptoms? anything like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkebV2tv_cs my kitty was doing this for a looonng time, I thought it was a hairball at first but it continued for too long, took to vet and they suggested steroids, I declined because steroids can wreak havoc on a kitty if not absolutely necessary, and a friend of mine who rescues cats said it was just a hairball... my kitty did this for like a whole year. Then all of a sudden one day she didnt do it anymore and hasnt done it for a couple of months so I guess it was just a nasty something or other she had trouble getting out. I am very happy I declined the steroids.
