Found Cat

Found Cat
Large male tabby. The name Bear is on his collar.
Found November 19 in the Pharmacy and Eglinton area.

There was an address on the collar but the occupants had moved.
Will take care of him until owner is found.

Call (416)757-5789 of (416) 558-3675

You are so kind to take care of Bear. Thank you

I hope the family didn't move and "forget" to bring Bear with them

Good luck and please keep us posted. Maybe check vet offices in the neighborhood...perhaps they would have the change of address.

Google the address to get the phone number...they may have kept the same number is they are in the same neighborhood

Yeah, more than likely Bear is a victim of "we're moving and no, you can't come". Or maybe he got away from them on moving day. But they could have left their forwarding address with the people moving in.
Thank you for looking after him. Your "will take care of him till owner is found" may be for the next 15 years or so.

I could also be that the owners moved to a different part of the city and the cat got out at the new address and found it's way back to it's original home. That happened to my aunt's cat many years ago. Her cat made it's way from one side of Kitchener to the other

You can go to the toronto humane society website and post on the lost and found page. It comes up on google search a lot. Also, try takign the cat in to the local vet to check for a microchip. If there is a collar, there is a high likelihood that there may also be a chip.

Good luck and thank you for takign care of thsi kitty!!
