This is Thor.

This is a picture of my Pit Bull Mix his name is Thor. He was abused and my husband rescued him from being put to sleep. He still has fears, but is doing alot better since we have him. He was also neglected. We fatten him up, you could see his ribs when he was first brought him home.

Thor is such a cutie. How could someone mistreat Thor.
Very nice picture, I love those eyes.

The person who had Thor didn't live in the development all the time. The person would come up to their house everyother weekend. They had Thor tied up outside, no shelter, no food, no water. My husband told me about this dog, so we decided he should take food up to him.

I couldn't believe how skinny thor was. I'm thinking it was a male who owned him. He was very afraid of males for the longest time. Every now and then he still gets scared, especially if a storm is coming. He shakes so bad and he tries to sit on my lap.

He's in a very loving home now and he knows it. He gained alot weight.

What a beautiful dog...it is so hard to know someone would abuse an animal like that..we have one dog that was badly abused for her first two years..when we adopted her she was already at the spca for 2 months and was still way underweight...I can't even imagine the shape she was in when the shelter took her...she is nice and chubby now though and spoiled rotten...the saddest thing is she is so nice to our small children...she has a heart of gold and someone tried to take that from her...but we let it shine

It's sad to see how dogs/animals get abused.

Thor is doing alot better, though he his still scared of certain things. I'm sure eventually he'll overcome them. I'm glad that me husband brought him home.

My hubby only brought him home for us to have him gain weight, then he wanted to give Thor to a good home. When I saw him I fell in love w/him. he captured my heart.

My daughter is very attached to Thor. He sleeps in her room w/her. Their both happy.

We're all happy. I'm glad we were able to save Thor, before it was to late for him. We were his last chance, and he made it. He's a great dog and companion.

He has the sweetest face, what a lucky dog he is!

My little Rottie Daphne was tied on a 4' chain to a tree like Thor, in winter. Animal Control had to shoot her with a tranquiliser to get to her, she was so scared. The ONLY good thing about not having food & shelter where she was is that AC got her into the shelter and we adopted her! Otherwise she could still be chained to that tree. Instead of lying next to my chair right now on her dog bed, all safe and warm.

I think it's great that Thor and your daughter get along so well.

Is your Rottie mean, from that incident? Or is she ok?

Did you have any problems with her at first?

I bet she's the best companion you have.

I love Rotties. I want one, but not now. 3 dogs are enough for me. One day, maybe I'll be able to rescue a rottie.
