Gas Bombs

I have three indoor dogs size 6 pounds - 35 pounds - 100 pounds.
Two are on special diets (the two smaller ones) and I keep their bags of dry dog food in the pantry. We went to the store the other day and left the pantry door open (BIG MISTAKE) the largest dog (100+ pounds) the Hound of the Baskerviles - can stand on her hind legs and look a 6 foot tall man in the eye.
She went in and got a 10 pound bag of high fiber food down and snacked for 6 hours until we returned. This dog does not wolf her food. She takes her food - lays down - gets comfortable and nibbles her way through her dinner.
She ate all this high fiber dry food and that night the house was filled with green gas. The next 24 hours we were afraid to even turn on the stove for fear the gas would blow the house apart or the dog .LOL The dog didn't -thankfully-suffer any bad effects from her binge eating spree. And aside from having the windows open for 24 hours we did not have a problem except she was running outside every hour to drop another load. Poor puppy would lay down and sleep and she would release gas bombs.
Now we keep the pantry door closed......

Not only did we have the windows open seriously, I was up every hour to let her out for another dumpy. You should have seen the yard the next two days. I thought I was going to have to bring the front end loader around to clean the piles.LOL
Of course big Puppy would just stand there smile and pass another gas cloud. Ever see a mosquito fogger? Similar situation.
