"Novel" with hip dysplasia needs a home (Hamilton, Ontario)

Feel free to crosspost --

"Novel" is an approximately two year old spayed female orangey-red Rottweiler mix who has been at the shelter for too long. She has moderate to severe bilateral hip dysplasia and is on medications but will need surgery. Despite this, Novel is still a very happy and bright dog who doesn't seem to let this bother her. This gorgeous dog enjoys going for walks and loves to play whenever she is given the opportunity. If you are looking for a pet that requires some special care that the shelter staff will elaborate on, please don't hesitate to consider making Novel an addition to your family. She is a big, friendly and cuddly dog who loves everyone and seems to be fine with other animals.
