Harley recooping from attack

This is my poor baby, who was attacked last weekend from a stray dog. 25 stiches. To add insult to injury, he now has hot spots from the bactreria. As you can see he is not a happy camper. Poor baby

we went around the area, and asked if anyone has seen this dog, so far no luck, filed a report, the cops did not do anything, they said it was not a child. called the spca, they said they would keep an eye out for him/her do not know. So far no luck

So someone saw the attack and how was it stopped? It could have been so much worse.

My dog was playing in the backyard on a tie out ( only a 3 foot fence) so he was tied up on a long lead. My daughter was JUST put into bed. I went outside to play with him. All of a sudden this huge st benard mix of some sort jumped the fence and lunged at my baby. I ran inside, got a dog repellant, and spayed him in the eyes. He let go, and ran away. Poor harley was lying down at that time dripping ing blood. I did not wait to clean him up, I ran to the vet immediatley. 25 stiches later there he was. In a cone, and miserable. He is alot more territorial of his backyard now, but not aggressive Thank god. My other dog was inside eating, or she would have fought 2

Poor Harley. I'm glad he's ok. Such hot weather for the poor guy to have the cone on too! I hope it's not too long for him?

He was bitten on the cheek, and lightly on his nose. He now has hot spots on his nose, and other cheek

Oh no..!! Speedy recovery to handsome Harley!
The HS should put out an alert for this dog,the next victim might very well be a child. If he is as big as a St Bernard,he should not be hard to spot running around!

Tonight I will be making posters to see if we can locate this dog. He is not safe. If he was willing to attack a rottweiler, he definetly has the potential to harm a child. Poor Harley no longer feels safe in his own backyard

We've been lucky here. The wild dock packs are virtually gone? However, have been some cougar and coyote sightings which probably explains that.

No angel was inside when the attack happened Thank god. Harley is my 8 1/2 month old puppy. He has helped her a bit, then she regressed again
Harley went to OB class last night and was a real tropper, not even a bark at the other dogs. He has nerves of steele

does anyone else find it funny that lots of people are often fearful of breeds like rottweilers and here's one who is a poor victim. rottielover, he's adorable. i hope he feels better soon and that this other dog is caught. i couldn't imagine if it had been my baby.
