aslan, she DOES smile *L* she has the rotti grin and when my hubs is around the grin is steady, cracks him up every time.

love4himies, nope, no owners and it came out in 3 papers today, two women emailed, but one lost her dog only friday, and the other last july just after she had her second litter of pups....grrrrrrrrrr what IS it with people???? maybe hers ran away because it was sick of having babies...

frenchy and happycats, thank you so much for the kind words. she is sooo easy to take care of, she's on straight performatrin puppy kibble, oh alright, I also add one tablespoon of puppy canned food and mix it up *L* she won't eat it if I don't....sometimes I fake it and she will eat it *L*she's so easy to love.

I wouldn't doubt it, Sweet Pea wanted to run away from her kittens too. Never saw such an exhausted cat in all my life.

I would love this to be her furever home, but she doesn't like my female, or dogs period, well, not really that she doesn't like them, she doesn't want to share and I think she was just never around other dogs, she doesn't seem to know how to play with them, hopefully that will change when she goes to doggie daycare next week. I run a city daycare and it would be hard in case her and brina got into it with the kids around, I can't take a chance on them getting injured. But....we'll see what time brings.

OMGMelinda, she looks great, what a sweet pupand very lucky she found her way in to your heart.
It's very strange the way things work out.
Even if you cannot keep her,she is certainly getting a great chance at having a good life, the way she looked before, she would probably eventually just lied down to die.
Thank's Melinda

Melinda, you are an .

She looks so much better. Is there a soclization program your trainer could help you with so that your dog and this dog can start to build some trust? They have a reactive dogs class at our HS, and its for situations just like this.

she starts daycare today Winston, but I don't think she'll need it all week, her and my dog get along great, we bring her in the house during the day and she's doing well. I honestly think we can actively start looking for a good home for her, she will be having her "spa" day at Shannoncourt when she goes to daycare today *L*, so hopefully a client there will see her and possibly fall in love with her.

Melinda, that is just wonderful, she is such a lucky girl
It's amazing how animals can adapt and be forgiving,no matter what their bad background.
Hopefully someone will see what a beautiful pup she is

She is looking so much better, Melinda! I notice it in her head, too--the sunken areas on top are filling back in She's a real beauty--both of you should feel beautiful and proud!

Bravo! This must be so satisfying for you. Give us a hint, eh? Is it a board regular? If so, you've kept your secret well. Hooray for Whisper, she's a survivor.
