Her people never take care of her IMO. I dont consider just giving a dog food and water taking care of it Sorry, I get Kind of Upset when I talk abouit it. I am soo mad right now thinking about how she is treated:sad:

They dont deserve such a wonderful girl, They deserve a dog that bites them in the butt!

LOVEFORHIMIES!! LOOK!!! ( did I spell that right?) that is what I am talking about!!

On another discussion board for my community I was talking about that same thing. that there are so many people that leave their dogs outside on a short chain 24/7 keep in mind that it is below -40 here for months at a time, and I got my head ripped off when I said I thought it was bad!! I was told that maybe they are BAD dogs!! I agree food and water DOES not make for a good life. You could see how that pretty dog was frusterated at her chain! You are AWESOME for taking her she must be SOOO happy and in love!! What a beautiful dog!

98% of the dogs in my community live life on a chain. Its not cool. And spca's and animal shelters cant do anything about it because they get food, water and a little dogg house. Its sad, and laws need to be stricter.

I also walk a dog named bear, He is spoiled to death by his owner but she cannot walk him because of back issues.

And a pitty mixed with a black GSD that would lunge at people out of frustration. He was very dog agressive. Until I got to him..lol.. When I first started working with him, he didnt even have a collar, His tie out chain was wrapped around his neck and hooked. And he had to be muzzled at all times That I had him. If not he could have gotten loose and hurt another dog. Hes not "Bad" Anymore. Hes a great dog. All he needed was to trust somebody (Me), to get some excersize and give him boundaries. He is accually very well behaved. It just goes to show how irresponsible the owners are! They handed a"Dog Aggresive" Dog over to a 15 year old girl, no questions asked:shrug I have introduced him to Kacee, and some other stable neighborhood dogs(While muzzled) And he does great with them. But it will be a long time before i really trust him un muzzled.

Sometimes, when its REALLY cold out But she is only allowed in the cold, damp basement!

Its not a very good life.

lol. Your welcome It kinda irritates me when the people that dont do anything with there dogs, wont even let me go in and pet the dogs every now and then

I have to say though, Kacee has it pretty good compared to some of the other dogs. Its Horrible to leave a 90lb dog outside in all wheather, But, there are 10-12 lb dogs left out as well, and 2 of them are 12+ years old

I see it here all the time.. sad sad sad... there is a rotweiller near me and I don't think he has the coat to withstand the nights for weeks at a time at -50. and you are right if they have food and water and "shelter" nothing will be done. I don't understand why people like that have a dog. A yard ornament??? THEY are the ones that chose the dog!! I wrote about this on my city's discussion board and people said maybe they are bad dogs that chew things up! IMAGINE THAT! I wanted to reach through the computer screen and strangle someone! there is also someone that is real near me that has a aussie shepard cross and at 9 pm every night they put it in a wire kennel on the deck!!!!!! THAT is not shelter and if it is in the kennel WHY can it not be in the house??? My next door neighbor has a golden and a st. brenard and they have NEVER EVER been out of the yard! They do let them in the house but they have never been walked and I have never seen them played with. it is a pitty b/c they are sweet dogs. The St. is SUPER scared of everything. She is used to me because my kids and I bring her cookies all the time but if anyone else approaches the fence she runs and hides. These dogs just want to be part of the family, want spare time thats all and will give everything in return for it. WHY can they not see that???

Again I think the dog is GEORGEOUS and I am so happy that you have decided to give her some attention. Too bad her family cannot afford that to her. But you are her angel. Kudos to you!
