Question What is she trying to tell me?

I have a 7 yr old terri-poo who has just recently started to pee on the floor. She will do it right in front of me. What is she trying to say to me?

She might be trying to tell you that there's a physical problem, such as a urinary infection. I'd start by having her checked out by a vet.

How long you had her?

Often UTI problems show up as frequent urination.

Incontinence shows up when you find a puddle on her bed when she gets up.

Peeing right in front of you is often a behavior issue. She is choosing to do this and there is a reason for it.

Try looking at what sort of changes have occurred in your home, behaviour is the only way that they can really communicate with you. It may seem hard to think that she is doing this for an attention thing but to them urinating isn't a bad thing but a reactive thing. She wees and you react! Good luck and know that we all need to be heard and some of us just don't know how to get the info across!
