Hi, I'm new.
I didn't want to be a jerk and just post in the "need medical help" forum without at least saying hello.

So, Hi. My name is Matt. I live in Australia. I have three pets, an 11 (on October 28) year old labrador named Lan, a 2 year old "second hand" Maine Coon that I just got in February, named Jack and a less that 1 year old cockatiel named Alfie who likes scratches and whistling the song from The Great Escape.

Currently my dog is having some problems which I posted in the other forum. So it's half past two in the morning here and I am sitting on the floor next to her bed with the laptop.

Hi. Thanks for the welcome. Here are a couple of pics.


This is Jack. He is not camera shy in the slightest.


And this is Lan, after her first operation. She is usually anti-camera. I'm not sure why.


Here is a photo of her before she got sick. She'd just seen a cat outside. She's never been aggressive towards cats, but she doesn't like ones she doesn't know in her yard.

Welcome cattychew. I love that "second hand cat"! Cute!!! Thank you for being his #1 owner. He is gorgeous!!
Lan is a beauty as well. In the second pic of her she looks like she has been crying.

He may be cute, but he is a handful. And she does tend to get upset when she can't play with the outside cats.

Yeah they're cute... When they're not tormenting eachother.

I didn't think I had a photo of Alfie online (he doesn't sit still for it often enough) but I found an old one from not long after I got him.


He's a bit bigger now than he is there.
