Harmony living with cats and dogs is possible.

It has now been three weeks and our little Dexter has transitioned very well into the family. After quiet one on one time with Dexter and each of the dogs and our kitten Katie, the whole bunch are now all in harmony. Three days ago, the bedroom (Dexter's safe room) door was opened and he was unleashed on the entire house He and Katie are now friends, she now realizes that he is a playmate instead of a rival but it took her time and her own terms to reach that conclusion.
I think the only advice that I have to anyone trying to introduce a kitten to resident dogs and cats is to take as much time as necessary and to have much patience.
It is so nice to live in a stress free home again!

I can't seem to get a picture with all four of them, our Giant Schnauzer Molly being black photographs so badly....

I'm so glad everyone is getting along. I love seeing photos of cats and dogs hanging out together.

Harmony is bliss! Thanks for taking the time and having patience, and letting them be until they were ready. You've got a boootiful fur family!
