Cat dandruff ?

It has been very cold and dry where we live in Alberta.
Our cat Maggie has what looks to me to be dandruff. She is 3 and has not had this before.
She is on a diet of mainly Wellness canned food.
Ed went to Tailblazers in Lethbridge today for food, they recommended and he bought Biologic Bio Fats Omega 3-6-9 Daily essential Fatty Acid Formula.
Is this good for her ? We have not had to use anything like this before.
Thanks, Laurie

Our oldest cat Boo had terrible dandruff every winter; we heat with wood so it gets very dry here. This changed once we got her on a grain-free diet (Orijen) and is one hundred percent resolved now that she's on a raw diet. Supplements like omega oils can definitely help, though; it really is just a nutritional thing in many cases.
