Hi ancientgirl,

I have just checked out the URL you provided in this post, and I'm so glad I have...There is a product I have been giving to my dog, that is now listed as a recall item. I hope the reasons for this recall are not serious...

I am waiting back on a reply from a company with regards to a recall. Hopefully I will hear back from them shortly - even though it is Friday.

Good luck. I hope it's nothing serious too. Even though the big publicized recall happened in 2007, it looks like these happen in various degrees often. It's always good to check regularly. Every time I see a list like this, I always check to see if my gangs food is on there. Luckily, it never has been.

It never hurts to be informed. Especially when it's for our babies.

If you find an item on the list - make sure you click on it so that you can see the actual recall data (the first screen gives you the recall code, click on the recall code and it gives you the recall info). The detail page doesn't tell you what the recall was for, but since the list contains all pet food recalls since Jan 1, 2006 - some of those are from the big one in 2007 and have since been resolved. Never hurts to check this list although it would be nice if they kept it to where the old recalls were seperated from new ones.
