Hi K9 Length of feeding

He has been on the Lamb and Rice since July. This is after having a bit of time on the whitefish and potato. We moved to Edmonton in september and i am wondering if stress still might have something to do with it. He is a highly sensitive dog (HSD). How does one get their dog an allergy test?

your vet clinic would have to make a referral. the closest place to go would be in calgary to the landing animal clinic.unfortunatley our vet said they don't do allergy testing here in edmonton and calgary is the closest specialist.

Thanks April

Thanks April. Calgary be the place. Too bad they don't do it in Edmonton anymore. Have you been to see any of the holistic vets? If you have, would you recommend one? I can try the pet food stores, i am looking for a more organic place to go to and maybe they might have some ideas or heard of some success stories. Thanks again

i'd recommend the edmonton holistic vet clinic. we see Dr. Sheri Lund, she's done wonders for Murphy! Numerous people here in the city have recommended that clinic and they've done some great miracles there. Our previous groomer who used to groom our other boy was told by a vet that she was seeing for years that she had to put her girl done. she switched to the holistic clinic and her girl is totally great. they also say food change makes a big difference. i also noticed you have a post on food...they recommend the raw food diet or a homemade diet that they can give you. If you feed kibble though and want to stay that way i'd suggest going to petplanet they have alot of knowledge.i would stay away from petsmart and petcetera.

Thanks April

That is good to hear. I just moved from Prince George this fall to come and study massage therapy and it is great to have this assistance.
