Pug missing in High Park area (Toronto)
Jessie went missing on Saturday, July 10 around noon near the corner of Westminster and Indian Road in the High Park area of Toronto. She is a female pug who is nine-years-old. She requires daily medicine so it’s important that she is located quickly.
She has a brown dog collar with a rabies tag with the number for our vet. The tag number is 04060. If you have any information please call Stephen at 416-588-6358 or 416-402-6876. She is very much a part of our family and we will offer a reward for her return. Please also email an information to stephenjrouse@rogers.com. |

Hope you find her, pugs have quite the personalities. Unfortunately most pugs will go to anyone for alittle love and a good scratch. Don't forget to check out the spca, www.petfinder.org, www.canadastrays.com and www.lostandfound.ca
The newmarket ospca has a page that can link to the other humane societies sorry don't know the address off hand will get back to you. Good luck |

Call the vets in the area as well. I live in high park area I will keep my eyes open when I am out with my guy. We walk from Dundas and Bloor to High Park and through the park and back we take a different route home so will keep our eyes open for your baby

Thanks for your thoughts
Thanks for your thoughts. Agree about the pug going to anyone, and as we deal with our grief of losing Jessie, we're hoping that her pleasant demeanor and likability with ensure that she's well taken care of. With her medical condition she will likely become lethargic and no longer be "the cute dog from Men in Black", so we're also canvassing vets if they receive an older pug with new owners. We've talked to several pug breeders who say they are very much in demand now since the movie (reminds you of all those families that took high-maintenance dalmations into their families after the Disney movie). Pugs are without doubt though a great urban companion dog.
We've since heard of another dog being stolen in the Roncesvalles Village area from the owners backyard. So be extra vigilant. Regardless, there's something about Jessie, and we like to think we'll see her again somehow, somewhere. |
