Question Cats and PineSol?

Hi everyone! I'm new to this website, and it looks great from what I've seen. Maybe someone will be able to help me out with this question:
I've recently started cleaning my house with Pinesol cleaner (the pine scented one). I have 2 cats, and as soon as they smell the scent, they go crazy. They start to franctically smell the floor, lick it, and roll over in it. Has this happened to anyone else? Isnt it dangerous for them to be licking those chemicals? And WHY do they feel the urge to do that?
Thanks, and Have a nice day everyone!
Cathy.

Hi,

Cats often love to eat and smell vegetation so they are probably attracted to it for that reason.

I haven't looked at a bottle of pinesol for years...but my instinct is to say NOT TO USE THIS PRODUCT IF YOUR CATS ARE LICKING IT.

If it says it's poisonous on the bottle then without a doubt stop using it.
