The three standing are brothers. Odinn, in the middle, has what used to be a soccer ball in his mouth. He's always got something carrying around or chewing on.
The one with the ball is Odinn. The other one with white on his face is Pacino. D'Artagnan is the one without white on his face. In the picture of just one is Sabine. |

Those are some big doggies! Very regal looking.
Laughing about the imagery in my head of walking by a fence and see three giant danes pop up to look at me.

I love the 3 brothers at the fence pics! Front and back shots!
Sabine is beautiful, but they're all gorgeous! I just read your food thread--honestly, for young dogs, I don't see any that look like they're too skinny They all look like they've got decent muscle mass and are in good body condition.

Absolutely stunning pictures.
My oldest daughter loves Great Danes--can't wait to show her these pictures the next time she pops home! Would love to see more of the gang!

Here's a few more pictures. The first is Sabine playing with a pup we were sitting. I absolutely love this picture of them.
The second is Odinn by himself, and the last is D'Artagnan. Hazel, the picture here don;t really show how skinny they are. Odinn is really bad in that you can see every back bone and rib without looking. I think D'Artagnan's coloring makes it seem like he's not as skinny. |

Debbie, Sabine is 4ish, our best guess as she was a rescue from someone who didn't know much. The other three are almost 14 months.

Well, they're gorgeous, that's all I can say!
I can see why that pic of Sabine with Friend is a fave of yours! What a hoot It's hard to have a heart-to-heart discussion when you have to stand up on your hind legs to talk face-to-face.

They are gorgeous all four of them. I assume with such big doggies that must be their "dog house" behind them in the first shot! They look lovely and very sweet.

Thanks for more pics!
Is Sabine's tail docked? I don't think I've ever seen that in a Dane. Do they live in their big "doghouse" or in the house with you? I am sure they are a lot of work but so worth it. Cute!!

They live inside. We need a much bigger house!
Sabine's tail is not medically docked. When we took her in, the tip of it was missing. She refused to let it heal and kept messing with it and hitting it against everything. (You should have seen out blood splattered walls.) The "cone" didn't work because she is so big and tore it trying to walk around the house. She would keep getting it snagged on doorways and the such. Also, bandages didn't help, as she would take them off as soon as our backs were turned. It finally healed earlier this year when I discovered a collar that stayed flat against her neck and would no permit her to reach that far back. Thank you all for your compliments. |

aww Sabine... she must have been so happy to find her "furever" home that she just couldn't stop waggin that tail no matter what!
Glad to hear she's all healed up now she is still just as beautiful, full tail or not!
