Rizo started to breathe heavy and gets weak hind legs and lays down

Rizo is starting to do as above on occasion. It happened once the other day and again today. He then starts to gag and want to be sick. I'm starting to get worried and I'm beginning to think its because he is obese or has eaten something he shouldn't have. Maybe a stone or something

I know I seem to come here when bad things happen, but rest assured I do read what's on offer on a weekly basis. I have been very careful on what I give Rizo since the onion incident, so this is even more worrying Some advice and help would be much aprreciated by Rizo and myself.

Thanks in advance for the replies.

How old is Rizo? I can't remember It could be a lot of things, some serious... The first question that crossed my mind was: has he been checked for heartworms or heart problems?

If you haven't made an appt to see the vet yet, I'd strongly recommend taking him in. If it's something like heart problems, they can often be controlled by meds, but the earlier you start, the better the prognosis.

Good luck with Rizo! I hope he's okay!
