Unhappy Lost Bird (cockatiel) in ottawa

Help! We have lost our Cockatiel. He is a about the size of a small fist and mostly yellow with a little grey. He flew off Thursday, April 29 in the afternoon from the corner of bay and Lisgar in downtown Ottawa. We miss him dearly and hope and pray for any word of him. If found please contact 613 218 8538

Have you put up posters and contacted the vets and shelters in your area, Luke? Talking to businesses in the area, if there are any, might not hurt, either. Someone may mention seeing your bird

I hope your bird comes back to you soon!

If you want to put up posters earlier, put them in zip-lock bags with the opening zipped and down to prevent water from getting inside. Makes them pretty weather-proof

Good luck, Luke!

Luke, good luck finding your bird. My son found a cockateil once and we were successful in finding it's home due to posters that we spotted while driving. Don't give up hope, birds do come home! I should say that the bird actually found my son and wouldn't leave him. It perched on his shoulder at work and stayed with him all day and on the drive home! The owners said the bird knew my son was his saviour angel and would get him home.
