Smile Hi Everyone!

Hi All
I'm Stepheny
I live outside of Ottawa and have 2 beautiful cats Chester is a 8 year DSH and Max is a 5 year old DLH both cats a rescues,as well we have added Mopsy to our family she is a 1 year old bunny that think she a cat..Our family also consits of 2 great kids a 5 yr old and 1 yr old not to mention hubby.We are animail lovers to the end...Our daughter is now dreaming of being a VET.so we try to involve her in many things..she is a PETA memer too.Im about to Foster 2 other cats but of course im not involved with any groups in the area..and sugggestion?Well thats us in a Shell..

Welcome, It is great that you are involving your daughter in groups for animal protection. Personally I don't like the tactics taken by Peta. Many other animal rights groups go about it in a much better way but it is great that she is atleast involved.
I was at the Rideau Centre last week. A group from Peta were there protesting fur(rabbit) but I couldn't quite understand why several of them were wearing leather.

Talking Peta

My daughter is loving being a part of Peta however Peta can be scary..even for me so what she see and reads are totaly moderated.I want her to be be compasioate not radical..I find that some of the articals that are sent are very helpfull and we try to do what we can..by learning to be a caring person to animials it's helping he to become a good person to all mn kind..sounds corny I know..but its working

I don't think it sounds corny at all.You are right.I'm much more positive since I have my dogs.Especially at 5h00 pm when I leave work to go back home!!!

Doesn't sound corny to me at all! Sounds like you are instilling some great qualities in your daughter.
