Eggs and Puppies?

My sister recently got a Std Poodle puppy, too. She's feeding Willie a hard boiled egg each day. Hands him the whole cooked, peeled egg and lets him play with it/eat it out in the yard.

Haven't read much about eggs and canine nutr. Is an egg a day okay for puppies?

eggs are ok for dogs, just as in humans watch out for excess, raw eggs are good when weaning pups too.

yes, whole eggs (shell and all!) are an excellent, balanced source of nutrition. pure protein and, if the shell is eaten, there's your perfect calcium
