Dirty cat bum Pt. 2

So, what's the best way to trim a cat's bum without going to a groomer? I doubt Frankie is the only cat that struggles when you come near her with scissors. Any tips on how to make the process alot less painful for me and alot less stressful for Frankie?

Two people, one to hang onto the cat and the other to do the deed. Lots of treats and you need to be calm (all those soothing incomprehensible words). And a sure hand: if you poke her by accident, it'll be back to square one. Try to get her into a position which is comfortable, not scary, not upside down. Lay her out on a table, have your partner shovel in the treats at one end while you're busy at the other. Don't prolong it, you might need two or three sessions.
