Doggie Boots
Hi Everyone,
Hopefully someone can give me some advice. Tonight we purchased a pair of Muttlucks for our pug and once he had them on we went outside so he could go to bathroom and managed to get 3 of them off. I'm not sure if we have purchased the wrong size. It says to measure from the front heel and after doing this on the paper it recommended a size x-small. When reading the instructions on how to put these things on it says the velcro should go around the ankle. I am not sure which part of my dogs front paw is the ankle....... |

Just my opinion, and other's may know more about dog anatomy, but I think that the ankle (wrist) is the joint that is right at or slightly above the dew claw on the front (I think of the dew claw as the thumb) and the corresponding joint on the back legs.

the dogs ankle is just above the paw.. until he is use to them he will keep trying to get them off.. will take him a while to get use to them...

Thanks for the help I also thought the ankle was above the dew claw. Also I will put the boots on while in the house so Chuck has a chance to get used to them.

It's sooo funny watching the dogs stepping around the house with their boots on. Thanks for the reminder I have to find the girls boots.
