Wow,dogs grow really quick! The two pics don't look like the same dog, color really different..
I hope he does not stay in the dog-house outside all the time.

He is sooo gorgeous!!!! I love the pic where he's in the pumpkin.
I agree w/Chico, he's not outside and in the dog house all the time is he?? If he is outside all the time, please reconsider to bring him in the house. Here's an excellent site to go to: dogs deserve better Please don't get mad that I put this site here, but I just want to make you aware of what can happen to a dog that lives outside 24/7. I'm not saying that you do live him out 24/7. Please don't take offense to me posting that site.

What a sweetie.
I don't see a chain anywhere,so I doubt that he's chained up out there. I hope not.

Bentley is spoiled rotten he has a doggy door, so comes and goes as he pleases. He also weres a shock collar. The collor gives a warning sound if he leaves the yard and a eletric buzz if he continues way from the yard. It only took 1 day to train him on his boundrys. This is much better than a chain and much cheaper than a convention fence.

Bently is very cute! Glad to hear he's spoiled and happy.
The only problems with invisible fences is that they do NOT stop other dogs, animals, or people from coming on your property and attacking or stealing your dog. Also if there is a power failure, your dog is free to leave the property. |

Hi Lubu and lucky rescue
I would like say a word about shock collers. The word SHOCK is sounds like torcher but Bently rarley ever gets shocked. This is how it works. We put a small wire around our yard that will be his boundry and put up small white flages to show him visual pirmitors. The first day he walk through the flaged area and got shocked the next week we took down ever 2nd flag the next week we took the rest until it was invisable. He now knows his territory and never gets a shock because the callors gives a warning beeb well before any discpline. I recommend this to anybody that is willing to train there pet. My dog has his freedom and at the same time will not get hit by a car or be wondering around. By the way his getting fixed next week...... Please dont email him I Love Dogs Thanks for the input eveyone Sally |

Thanks for the info...but I do know all about them and still don't believe in them.
It provides no barrier..so other animals and people can trespass into area's that your dog feels is his. Be prepared, if someone enters your property and your dog is loose unsupervised, it could and may attack a child or another animal. This is just one of the many reasons I do not like them. On another note, he is absolutely adorable

Well all I can say is my guys know their boundery.Especially on my sisters farm...And no shock collar was needed.
Guess it's called old fashioned training.

how long were u using it on him before u became comfortable enough to remove it? |

2 months or so. But leaving it on does hurt him whatsoever because a warning sound happens before the static buzz. He turns back fast before the buzz.
