Squiggy isn't eating

You might remember Squiggy - he was one of my stray Ethel's kittens (he used to be named Cappy).. My sister adopted him and his sister from me, and they've been doing well until ..

Apparently over the past couple of days Squiggy hasn't really been eating. He'd take a nibble and then move on. He also started vomiting clear liquid about twice a day. My sister took him into the vet, and they couldn't find anything wrong with him. They said his temp was fine, no URI, nothing lodged in his stomach that they could tell, not dehydrated..

She got him home and found he would only eat kibble (she had him on a rotation of good wet stuff, like Wellness, Go!, etc). He seems the same, other than the vomiting and the change in eating.. The vet was hesitant to even give him a blood test - saying that maybe he only had an upset stomach

Anyway, she's keeping her eye on him - she was told that if things took a turn for the worst to bring him into emergency.

At least he's now eating SOMETHING - but does anyone have any ideas what this could be?

If he keeps vomiting I would go with the blood work and just make sure everything is alright. I know when my cat got sick, blood work was the only thing that showed what was wrong with him.

That's what I was thinking - I was surprised the vet didn't go for it right away, but he was hesitant for some reason.. He called her and told her to bring him back in if things hadn't changed, so hopefully they can get down to what's wrong

My guys do sometimes just get upset guts... I imagine from eating a bug or something that doesn't agree with them. Your sister could try having cat grass for them around the house, thats what my guys like to have when their guts are wonky. (I buy it already grown as I have a black thumb)
