Unhappy tragedy

Just watched the news.A 3 year old was killed by a Rottie and possibly a Border Collie in BC.They were put down.2 other dogs where in the house. But these 2 were not owned by homeowner. Not much more was said. But what was said is that those 2 dogs have never attacked or bit anyone else. There were other children in the house.

I will keep you updated if I hear any more.

That is so sad  I had quite a household over the holidays, I asked people who would normally bring their dogs to keep them at home it would have been to much indoors.......and that was with adults......I think when we have multiple dogs and children together they should never be left alone......very sad for the family to endure

So true. And the sad thing is,it may not have been the family dogs that did it.They had 3 other children. And the dogs never harmed them.Or anyone else....

It is sad all around but the media will blame the dogs rather than ask "where were the parents?" and what is the background of this household?

Keep us posted please! Sounds like yet another bad rap..

People always win against a cruel, mean dangerous dog.

Rarely does a big goober dog win against injustice and a cruel owner.

I wish our four legged family members had rights too..

I was watching the news and they said this house had a "history" with the police. Aparently children of the owners had previously been taken away by the equivalent of BC's CAS.

Most news outlets I've heard from said the child was killed by rottweilers. My understanding is they don't know which dog did it, but since there where rottis, they're recieving all the blame from the media.

I heard that it was several hours after the attack that they actually found the child and called 911 (because it happened when everyone was sleeping).
