Holly is dead

Holly hung on until today. I went out this afternoon and when I came home about an hour ago she was dying. I brought her to DMV about 20 min. ago and they made her an angel. Leaving her there was the hardest thing I ever had to do. They have a service called All Creatures Great and Small and I paid for an individual cremation. I hope I did the right thing and that they are a good company. If they aren't please let me know as maybe I can still rescue her body from their freezer. The problem is that I am leaving for Michigan at 7 AM tomorrow on the first trip I've taken in 9 years.

My heart is flat-out broken.

Lisa.

oh so sorry

So sorry for the loss Lisa. The organization is fine, we used them for Molly. You will get Holly back in an urn in about 10 days. Not to worry.

Lisa, I am so sorry. I was thinking of you and Holly today. She is in good hands and the change of scene might be the best thing for you. I am sitting here with tears running down my face for you and looking at Henri's little box of ashes sitting on the bookcase in the corner.

Holly is happy and whole again at Rainbow Bridge and we all have companions there to watch for her.

so sorry for your loss, you did everything you could for her

Lisa, I am so very sorry.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your precious girl.
Holly is indeed an angel now, at the Bridge, free from earthly cares and struggles.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Holly will wait for you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

My heartfelt condolences to you for your loss. I lost little Ali back in October and it is still hard. Holly and Ali are playing together at the Rainbow bridge. They are both in a happy place. Just remember all the good times you had with her.

I'm sorry to hear about your Holly. You never forget those special souls in your life. It doesn't seem fair that their lifespans are so short compared to ours. I hope your memories bring you comfort. She was lucky to have you.

I had to do the same thing just over a year ago, I know how you feel. I found it very peaceful though, I work in a nursing home and have seen some people suffer if only we could do the same for them, but thats another story. My thoughts are with you and at least she is at rest and suffering no more.
