I didn't know that BTs came in red!
 How cool! Good luck  I'll get an update on Wednesday regardless and feel them out on how they feel about non-local adoptions. If it goes no further than the inquiry, well so be it.  PM me when you know for sure what you're gonna do

Hazel Run Foster Olympics...dedicated to rainbow
Every morning Sally and Cerberus get up to see if it's still cold.
"Yep, Hades is still frozen over, Sally. What should we do today?" Sally thought for a while. "You know," said Sally, "the Pack had so much fun last week during their Olympic Competition, what do you say we try our own Olympics?" "That's a marvelous idea!" barked Cerberus. "We can do the Summer Games--it'll remind you of home," baaed Inner Sheep. "We need an Olympic Flame!" whuffled Inner Bunny. "No problem!" laughed Sally the Fire Demon. "I'll go help Dad start the Yule fire and we can get the games started!"

Once the Olympic flame had been lighted, the Games began.
First came the high jump. "I'll lie down here and you jump over me, Cerberus," said Sally. "I don't know, Sally. That looks pretty high to me!" yapped Cerberus. "We'll never make it," moaned Inner Sheep. "Oh, buck up, Inner Sheep! We're Olympic athletes!! We can do it!" squeaked Inner Bunny. Deputy Brier announced the event. "Our first contestant is Cerberus. "He eyes up the bar, takes three deep breaths and takes a determined run across the kitchen table! He leaps high into the air! Inner Bunny spreads his ears for a little more loft and..." "Ooof-dah!" exclaimed Cerberus. "I think we're stuck," grumbled Inner Sheep. Inner Bunny just sighed. "Yes, folks, we seem to have a hang up here," announced Deputy Brier, moving in to help. "Hey, Lil Dude! There ya go!" "Can't thank you enough, Deputy!"

"How about a pole vault?" suggested Sally. "You can use me as the pole! ""That sounds fun!" barked Cerberus. "We're all gonna die!" squealed Inner Sheep. "We'll break all the world records!" danced Inner Bunny. Once again Deputy Brier calls the action. "Cerberus is hefting Sall...er...the pole, and begins the approach!" "Cerberus plants the point, and is lofted up...and up...and upside down... "but misses the release and...! Oooffff! That's gotta hurt!!" "Um, Cerberus?" gasped Sally. "Yes, Sally?" "I think you're supposed to let go at the top!"

Olympic athlete that he is, Cerberus doesn't give up easily.
"Let's try that again," he barked gamely. "Oh, no!" gasped Inner Sheep. "Yay! More flying!" wheeeed Inner Bunny, waving his ears. Once again, Cerberus picked up Sally as Brier did the commentary. "The pole is up and the contestant is ready to go! He's off! "The point is planted! Up they go!!! "All the way to the top... ...and the release is perfect!! Cerberus flies all the way across the table and lands upright!" The Pack, watching from tableside, goes wild! "We did it!" caroled Cerberus. "Be still my heart!" whined Inner Sheep. "Hey, look! Our next event!" whuffled Inner Bunny. Cerberus had landed right next to the weight-lifting venue.

Cerberus sidled over to the weights and looked them over.
"Hmmm, they look heavy!" growled Cerberus. "That doesn't look too scary," baaed Inner Sheep hopefully. "Think we can lift those?" asked Inner Bunny. "Cerberus stands over the weights!" barks Deputy Brier. "They put paws, hooves and rabbit-foots on the bar... ...and heft the weight up!" The weight moves half an inch off the table, Cerberus takes a step backward and collapses with the apparatus on top. "Are you all right?" asked Sally breathlessly. "Oooof-dah!" grunted Cerberus. "Well, that went well," Inner Sheep moaned, rolling his eyes. "Sally, I think we need the Deputy's help again!" huffed Inner Bunny. Sally ran off to get the Deputy.

"Deputy Brier! Help!" sizzled Sally. "No problem, guys," barked Brier. "Here...let me get you outta there. Where do you want to go next?" "The swimming venue!" yapped Cerberus. "Yes! Swimming is easy!" sighed Inner Sheep. "Okay, swimming it is!" caroled Inner Bunny. But the swimming pool was otherwise occupied and the swimming events had been cancelled. "Uh-oh!" said Cerberus. "Better get outta here before Mom makes us do the dishes!" baaed Inner Sheep. "Okay! Then the 100 m dash is next!" laughed Inner Bunny. "First one to the printer in the family room is the winner!" yelled Sally.

"Through the family room door and round the corner," called Brier, "it's still anyone's race! Still neck-and-neck, nose-and-nose...what a nail-biter, folks!!
"The finish line is in sight!" "Sally, the line judge, is in place and ready to make the call!" "My dawg!! It's a photo finish! Too close to call!! Sally is inspecting the pictures...she's making her decision...and here it comes!" Sally cleared some sparks out of her throat and sizzled, "The winner is...all three of you! Three winners of the 100 m dash!! It's OLYMPIC HISTORY IN THE MAKING!!!!!!!" Once again, the audience goes wild!!!!  Tails wag frenetically. Hair balls fly everywhere!

At the medal ceremony, Sally the Fire Demon hung the gold medal around the necks of her friend. The Hazel Run Pack continued to wag their tails in approval.
"Gold becomes you, Cerberus," she hissed appreciatively. "Aw, we couldn't have done it without you and Deputy Brier!" exclaimed Inner Bunny. "We should do it again sometime!" howled Cerberus in glee. "Ohhhhh.....noooooooooooooooo," moaned Inner Sheep. the end
