Ok, so I guess an explanation IS needed.
My washer and dryer are in my kitchen. It is a large country kitchen and has the room. Works well for our life style.
Anyway... the roaster thing was put on the washing machine (which is right beside my sink and cupboards) when I was straightening out some cupboards making room for Christmas baking. It is no good for use anymore so it was going into the garbage which is on the other side of the washer/dryer. Before it got that far Mittens made himself comfy.
Now aren't you glad you required an explanation?

Oh, and cooking in a washing machine on hot - really really tender meat!

gonna have to try that... I got a washing machine in my kitchen too (unfortunately no country kitchen for us though... my place is just tiny, pretty much everything is in the kitchen )
My kitties eat dinner on top of the washing machine (keeps Molly from the cat food)

Mittens, you are the cutest!

You know, if we cooked in our washers like 14+ does, otter, we wouldn't have to worry about burning ourselves...

Actually, Mittens look likes he's rising before baking.

Your dish has lovely presentation . I think Mittens makes a much better centerpiece then a main dish .

Yep, had to. I don't want the rust in the bottom getting on him and him licking it off.

So is the roast "tender" or "tough"? "Roasted Mittens" that is so cute.

I got the nastiest look from him when I took him out of the thing to throw it out! I may have to go buy a new one just so he has a place to curl up in. Like he doesn't already!!
As for how tender he is......... pretty darned tender.

Chico - I have a few of them that have that orange/reddish tint. I was talking to a lady in the store a few weeks ago that used to live in this area. She said she had a Bengal that got out on her and took off. But she also claimed he was fixed. This would have been about 7 or 8 years ago. Makes you wonder when you see the colours.........
