Chinchilla Persian/Himalayan/MTL
Princess is a Silver Chinchilla Persian, about 5, whose owners abandoned her. She is quiet and shy, and understandably frightened after losing the only home she knew.
Peke faced Persians like her need lots of maintenence to keep eyes and nose clean, and a lot of grooming. They are often abandoned when people buy them for their beauty then realize they can't be bothered to care for them properly. Princess needs a quiet home, without dogs or small kids, although another gentle cat would be okay! Angel is a stunning male Himi, about 1 year old. He has a VERY slight neurological problem that makes his head shake when he is excited. He is SUPER cuddly, friendly, kissy and purry and not shy at all!! He is annoying to other cats, although a home with a nice dog would be okay! He's a real DOLL!! For more info, or to adopt either of these beauties, please email luckyrescue@hotmail.com |

Have you thought about contacting the Westmount Cat Lady to help place these two. When we get purebreds, I always send them to Joan as she has people looking for these types of cats. I think she will also put courtesy listings for other groups if you want to do the actual adoption.

Here's the link to her site: http://www3.sympatico.ca/animots/
We found a persian in pretty bad shape this past summer and she took him in. If she can't foster herself, the cats are usually housed at her vet in Westmount. Apparently himalyans and persians can starve themselves to death from stress, and like Lucky says, they need special care for eyes and noses. We don't have much 'market' for purebreds out here in the boonies, so I work with the WCL whenever I get a call from someone looking to dump a purebred cat. We have a link-exchange on our websites (I love it when groups help each other).

Here is a better pic of Princess. Usually purebreds go fast, so don't know why no one has shown interest in this stunning girl! She has settled down in her foster home and is becoming very purry and friendly too!

I had a call a few days ago from a lady asking about Princess (she had her rescue groups mixed up). I will PM you her name and phone number.
