How's Comet doing??
I've been on vacation...didn't see any updates...?

Vacation?? Hope it someplace warm and balmy!

The bad news is that the lady who was going to adopt Comet changed her mind when she found out about the rhino, and adopted a cute kitten instead. So he continues to sit in the cage at the vet. We have no other takers so far.

The good news is that the staff there is able to care for him - washing his face, etc - and he is much calmer. I really think he was a pet once upon a time, or least tame.

He's still wearing his collar though, as his ears have not yet healed. The vet said they were the worst she had ever seen.

That's too bad she didn't take him...at least he's getting good care and hopefully getting a bit more trusting and hurting less, poor cat.
