Although that is a little bit disheartening, one thing to keep in mind:I'd say most of the problem is that people don't understand the breed. If you asked those in favour of the ban if they agree that the dog was bred to be a killer, and can not be trusted with people, I'd be willing to bet the majority of them would agree. This is the real issue. Or rather, one of the issues. These call-in shows are great, but what we really need is actually experts talking about the dogs, and things like thier series last week, discussing real stats.

OMG!!! I am watching live stream of CityPulse online right now... there was just a little segment for tonight's episode... They showed the discussion from legislature today - Michael Bryant was LAUGHED at because he tried to cheat and pick the pit bull!!! Many Ministers LAUGHED at him for his cheat... and even Alex made a little gab at MB for trying to cheat!!!
