No I havent, I guess I figured that he is doing ok at the kennel, and if he's at Blue Ribbon then he'd be in a kennel as well. But they might help with exposure. I'll contact them and see what they say... Thanks!

Great news everyone! Badger is in his new home with his new family - 2 dogs and some cats - he gets along well with everyone. The woman saw Badger's picture on our Pefinder site and fell in love with him. Yesterday, he took a 45 minute walk with his new mommy in the woods and he did great! He has his own futon to sleep on and is adjusting really well.....that woman is truly an angel for saving this dog!:

I'm confused. Is Badger (great name, btw ) the original subject of this thread? or one of the others?
Either way, every good home is precious , especially for an oldie.

Sorry, just came to my senses - the subject of the original post is called Souverain. Duh. I'll be so glad when the election is over it's doing my head in.

I just had a note from Elodie, Souverain's now ex-owner. He has gone to live with a wonderful woman who has two other older dogs and some cats and lives in the country. She saw him on the SPCA Montérégie website - thank you SusieQT! - and fell in love.
Thanks also to Roz of Hopeful Hearts Rescue in Ottawa, who offered to help rehome Souverain.
Thanks to Marko for letting me post him.
Merci Frenchy, always willing to go to bat for the animals.
I think we need a 'happy tears' smiley.
Failing that,
