Puppy trauma
I have a 3 month old Cocker spaniel. I took her to get her face trimmed. She went crazy, she yelped, peed and pooped and then went limp. She threw up is drooling excessively and is very listless. What is wrong with her

I think she's in shock, which means her organs aren't receiving adequate blood supply, she'll need medical care ASAP. Check her gums for capillary refill time. Lift up her lip and press on her gums, if it takes more than a second to regain colour then her blood pressure is low. Do her ears feel cold? Is she responding to your touch or voice? I don't know why she would be from grooming, but that's what it sounds like. Unless the groomer used something she's allergic to and its some sort of septic shock... It sounds very weird, take your dog to the vet ASAP. Put her on her side and her head below the rest of her body and wrap her up in blankets to keep her warm. Monitor her breathing.
I hope everything turns out OK. Best of luck. Pachiz |
